Come Soar With Us

Since opening in 2015, ECA has been a cornerstone of Durham and the surrounding communities. In its inaugural year, ECA served 252 students in grades K-4.  This year, we will serve 840 students in grades K-9. 

Within the next four years, we expect to serve over 1,200 students in grades K-12. In doing so, we will be able to keep pace with the rapidly growing Durham area, as well as offer an unmatched education to greater numbers of deserving scholars.

With an expanding population comes the need to expand our facilities. We are in desperate need of a Gymnasium. Without a robust athletic program, many older students will elect to attend other area high schools.

ECA will always be a tuition-free school for high achieving students of all economic backgrounds. Our most recent annual fund allowed us to provide students with technology for remote learning, uniform and lunch assistance, all without having to touch operating funds. However, it has become clear that our operating funds are insufficient for facility expansion, students needs, and a gymnasium.

We intend to raise $3,500,000 over the next three years. We are asking for your support to help us meet this goal.
